About the Presenter:

I'm an energetic professional engineer specializing in Space Situational Awareness (SSA), astrodynamics, defensive space systems and space debris tracking. I regularly perform SSA experiments using small aperture telescopes using both ground-based and space-based systems (Sapphire and NEOSSat) for the Department of National Defence. Working with international researchers I coordinate experiments using optical, radar and other systems to increase understanding of the situation in space. I've represented Canada at scientific and technical forums on space such as NATO, the Combined Space Operations R&D initiative, and the Inter Agency Debris Coordination Committee. With over 15 years experience in the Canadian space sector, I also have experience in small satellite development, networked optical sensors and remote sensing.
